Musically speaking, 2009 stood out for me personally because of two bands that I saw in February: The Gaslight Anthem & Frank Turner. In fact, Frank Turner was the support for TGA so I saw them both on the same evening. Both bands really stuck with me the whole year and can be counted to my most favourites now. I even made a detour during… »

I spent around 132 days outside of Klagenfurt (~46 days for work, ~86 private) and couchsurfed 35 times with 17 different hosts… that’s more than 4 months away! Countries by days: Austria (59), Germany (14), Italy (14), Belgium (12), Switzerland (9), Netherlands (8), Bulgaria (7), Spain (4), Hungary (3), Slovakia (1), Slovenia (1) 27 days in Vienna. Two days work in Villach, 3 days in Sofia, home to my parents for the weekend. Getting friends from Vienna (Birgit & Felix) over to surf my couch… »

There, some friendly Couchsurfers from Linz are going to pick me up and we will all drive to Gossau together. That’s near St. Gallen in Switzerland. There’s a “huge” Couchsurfing event going on – the… »

Like Hamburg. Or Sylt. So imagine how cool it was that I had to bring someone to Venice airport and the next day was a national holiday in… »
